Happy Mothers Day

Mothers day defiantly did not turn out as I had hoped. However Anthony did melt my heart.
The Friday before I came home to these beautiful flowers. Thanks to Joanie! I loved them!
Earlier in the week Anthony brought me home a plant he had planted along with a home made card. I hadn't seen the gift yet and on the way to the store he told me
A: Happy Mothers Day
M: Awww thanks but it's not Mothers day.
A: why not?
I had this conversation everyday leading up to Mothers Day. However it melted my heart that we made me my first gift. What more could a mom ask for.
I think I finally killed it. I tried so hard to keep it alive. I am no good at it.
Hence why I don't have a garden in my yard.
Now the actual day of Mothers Day did not turn out so great. I woke up sick and was sick the entire day. We didn't didn't see either of our moms.
However I do want to say to my mom. Thank you for all you have done for me and everything you continue to do for me. You are an amazing mom!
I hope all the moms out there had an amazing Mothers day!

Cousins

Took the boys with their cousin Ashtyn and had some pictures done together.
They all are so dang cute!

Easter

I had ever intention of posting these with video shortly after I posted Coloring eggs. However our computer went down and now I am playing catch up. Sorry no video and very few pictures because I was worried about getting it on the video and not the camera.
Look what the Easter Bunny left.
Jackson loved his ball.
Anthony loved the new scooter.
Jackson even loved Anthony's scooter.

He Said What???

Okay. I know I am a little behind. But I swear if it's not one thing it's another thing. I will start getting updates posted soon. Hopefully this week since I have the next 6 days off.
However I had to post this before I forgot.
Anthony came to me wanting to play a video game. I asked him to wait until Jackson was down for a nap.
A: I have a good idea.
M: What's that?
A: You could hold him.
M: No that's not a good idea.
A: Okay. I have another idea.
M: What's that?
A: We could tie him up.
M: We can't tie him up.
A: Why?
M: Because he isn't a dog.
A: But we could pretend.

Coloring Eggs

I know I am slacking on the Easter post. Here is part one of two. Saturday before Easter I took the boys to a local church Easter egg hunt. I was too busy trying to help Jackson pick up eggs I didn't get any pictures of them hunting for eggs.
After we got home Anthony, grandma, and I colored eggs.
Anthony ready to go.
Thinking, thinking, thinking.
Anthony drawing on his egg.
Dipping the egg.

Job Update

Okay so it has officially been 90 days since I started my new job. I am finally out of "new hire" meaning I can now take time off from work. Finally!
So what excatly is my job.. Well it has changed already since being hired. I was hired to book air, car, and hotel for our plantium and centurion card members. Luckly there was a opening on the cruise desk. Along with most people don't have cruise experience. So the year wait was lifted and I was able to move into cruise training as soon as my orginal training was over.
After 90 days I am finally on my regular shift, and out of training. How do I like it? It's good. I think I will really enjoy it once I get inot my groove. I don't think being laid off could have happened at a better time. I am excited about the FAM's that I can possibly take, and the extra money I could earn.

One year ago today I lost a little piece of my heart. My grandma passed unexpectedly. I was very close to my grandma. Always spending time with her and thought she would be around forever. Things I miss the most are our conversations, about the Jazz, the books she is reading, catching up with her about what was new with me and my kids.
As a kid she took me to my first Jazz game. I even chose my grandma to write an autobiography about in the 6th grade. My grandma was a strong woman. Raised three kids alone, and even had to learn how to read again after her storke. She amazed me.
It has been a tough year. I find myself crying when I am alone sometimes just because I miss her so much. I am happy to have the amazing memories of my grandma and know she lives on in my heart.
