Family day at the zoo

So with winter fast approaching it's time to get are annual visit to the zoo in. Shane finally had a Saturday off and weather was perfect. This post is going to be long but it is mostly pictures.

Well I'm happy to say I've finally done it.

Best way to get Shane involved is letting him pick an outfit.

Movie Review: Paranormal Activity

So I am totally not into scary, creepy movies. Especially if I am watching them with Shane. Right when the movie is getting intense he will grab me to make me jump even higher than the movie would have.

I decided last night it was time to go to a movie. Of course the only movie he wanted to see was Paranormal Activity. I was told that is similar to Blair Witch Project. However when I was 15 I didn't care if movies scared me. So I agreed, on one condition. If Shane scared me on purpose I got to pick the next movie, but promised it wouldn't be a chick flick.

Overall the movie was alright. It started off pretty slow and I only jump a couple of times. It did have some humorous parts. From what I can remember it was not nearly as scary as The Blair Witch Project.

Unfortuntaly Shane didn't purposely scare me. I was looking

forward to picking the next movie without agruement.

BOYZ II MEN

Ok. So I'm a little late posting about this. However I found out that Boyz II Men were coming to the State Fair, for FREE. I was stoked! They sing one of my all time favorite songs.

Tickets were being handed out the day of the show starting at noon. Good thing Crystal was able to get her fiance to go stand in line for us. The show was sold in a matter of minutes.

It's a little dark. But here they are (minus one).
After the concert, we walked around the fair for a bit. I dared Crystal (a little tipsy) to try the bull. Above is her result after about 2 seconds.

She was up for the challenge (a second time).

All in all it was a good girls night out!
