Happy 3rd Birthday

Yep, that's right 3!Today you turn 3. It has been fun asking how old you are today (you keep saying 4). You have learned so much in the last year. You have counting to 10 by yourself almost mastered, and you have been doing good with the alphabet. You love Star Wars, and all your action figures. You are talking more and more each day. You are a bit of a picky eater (which I am sure is Anthony's fault) and you love your brother more than anything!

Happy Birthday little man!

Christmas Morning

I love Christmas, and this year is no different. The kids totally make it worth it. Christmas Eve, after a nice dinner the kids got to open their 2 gifts each. I think it should be just their pj's. But Shane thinks they should get to open something fun to. So this year they opened the kinect.

After a little bit of kinect playing the kids got the milk and cookies ready for Santa.
Jackson was in charge of the cookies.

And Anthony in charge of the milk.

Ready for Christmas morning.

Anthony came up about 630 asking if we could open presents. I made him go back to sleep for another hour. Amazing how fast we can go from this.....

to this. It was a very Star Wars themed year this year.

Look at all their loot.

This Jedi robe I am sure out did anything Santa brought. Anthony loved it and put it on immediately.

All in all a great day filled with family and fun.

Christmas Baking

The last few days I have been working on making goodies for the neighbors and a couple of friends. Of course I recruited the kids to help.

Mixing and

Mixing.

Who would have thought, these two ingredients can make....

these wonderful cupcakes for the kids to decorate.

They really enjoyed decorating.

Ta Da!

30 chocolate chip cookies, 25 pumpkin cookies, and 13 cupcakes later I was finished!

New Look

So I have wanted to do something new with my hair. I tried cutting it earlier this year and hated it. So I thought I would try highlights (one time I did it before it didn't turn out).

What do you think?!?!

I love it!

Festival of trees 2011

Over the weekend was my moms birthday. We of course celebrated in our usual way.

After a little ice cream for breakfast.
We headed over to the Festival of Trees.

The kids had a chance to visit with Santa.

They were also placed in a bubble.

And of course you will see trees at the Festival.

Lots and lots of trees. These were a few of my favorite.

We even found a Raiders tree. I was in trouble by Anthony for taking a picture of the Broncos tree they had there.

They even had little trees.

It was a great day! Let the Christmas festivities begin.

Letter to Santa

With Anthony finally being able to write and read. I thought now would be a good time to do this.

He was super excited to write his first letter to Santa.
So excited that his letter is 2 pages!

At least he was thoughtful enough to include something for Jackson. I had so much fun sitting down and helping him with this letter (I helped with the spelling).

All time favorites

Today I took the kids to Fotofly for yearly pictures. I have to say it was one of the best experiences I have had getting their pictures. The gal was GREAT, she made sure there was no glare with Anthony's glasses and got both kids to look at the camera. I have added a few of my favorite from the 46 I got without overloading to many on the post.

ENJOY!

Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving I am of course Thankful for these two.

But I am also thankful for a job I love, a job that allows me to buy the things I need to live, and allows me to travel a lot.
This year for Thanksgiving we went and spent some time with Shane's dad and his brother and sister. Jackson love his little cousin Jazzlyn.

What a doll!

awww.

Not sure Brittnay was so amused with these two.

Boys will be Boys!

After a stop at Shane's mom's family we had dinner at our house.

Jackson loves olives!

Thankfully my dad was at our house preparing dinner, so we could visit with Shane's family.

Neither one of my kids are great eaters. Anthony's dinner was stuffing and mashed potatoes. And Jackson had olives, roll, and marshmallows.

Best part of the meal is my yummy pie!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends.
