A Day At The Beach

So for our family vacation we took the kids to Vegas for 2 nights to see Joanie and my grandma. Than it was off to California for 2 exciting days in Legoland. However our first stop in California was the Beach!
This was Jackson for portions of the drive. And if you know Jackson you know how loud and high pitched his screams are. Let's just say it was painful at times.
We were staying in Vista/Carlsbad. About 30 minutes north of San Diego.
Here are me and Jackson at Carlsbad Beach.
Anthony's 1st visit to the Beach.
Currents were too strong to swim. So we had to just stand and be hit by waves. Which was perfect.
Perfectly Cold! Still a lot of fun to play in the water.
Plus play in the sand. Anthony wasn't too excited to play in the sand. He preferred the water.
Yep. That's my kid!
This was Jackson after a wave hit him. He didn't care to much for the water.
My cute little family.
It was such a good experience at the Beach. Defiantly something Anthony loved and will remember.

Up Next Legoland.

It's like have a whole new kid....

After 18 months I finally gave in and got Jackson his first haircut. We are currently in Vegas and with it as hot as it is we thought it would be nice for him not to have to worry about all that hair in the heat. I was also tired of cutting his bangs so he could see.
Before(he has no idea what is coming)
Here goes nothing.
This was about mid way.
Almost there.
All finished!
He is now blond. And currently is looking more like Anthony. I'm kinda sad to see the dark hair and curls go. But he is still as handsome as ever.

Funny...

I thought this was pretty funny. Shane thought of it as torture. However every time I watch it I can't help but laugh.

Sorry the video quality is pretty rough. That's what you get with a video from a phone.

South Jordan Days

Shane's little sister Brianna had a dance program at South Jordan Dayzz. So after we watched her preform we decided to hit up some rides. It was a great idea. It was so not crowded and going that weekend meant we didn't have to go to the over packed West Fest/Taylorsville Dayzz. It was perfect no lines. Kids loved it. One bad thing. I think I am getting old.
I love roller coasters and things that make me dizzy. But I learned that night things that make me dizzy also make me sick. :(
I had to be the adult on this ride with Anthony. And about half way through I had to close my eyes and tell myself I would get through it.
Anthony had no problems and loved it!
Jackson loved anything with a steering wheel.
We would even get a wave once in awhile.
The kiddy roller coaster Jackson didn't care for it. They stoped the ride in the middle of it so I could pull off a screaming Jackson.
Can't go to a carnival without a big slide. Brianna and Anthony had the chance to go multiple times on one round of tickets.
Wheeeeeeeee!

The giant strawberry (similar to a tilt awheel). Anthony loves things that make him dizzy. Luckily Brianna was there to go on the rides with him.
I was even able to get Shane to take a good picture. (Well good of him)
It was a fun night. I love the summer and the carnivals that come along with it.
