Made my Goal!

My goal this year was to complete four 5k's.
Brenda was my partner in this madness.

First up was the Amex 5k. Nothing fancy, time completed in 48 minutes.
The following week, we did the color run.
Completed in 42 minutes.
Come August we did the Kiss me Dirty. This was a mud run.
Jontue even joined us this time.
Not timed, but there were obstacles.
This one was a lot of fun.
They even volunteered for free entry. I think they ended up as muddy as us.

Yesterday was our last run.
The Electric run! It's done at night, in the dark.

Lots and Lots of fun. I forgot to time this one. Again, it was for fun.

I'm so happy I made my goal. Maybe next year I will try my and at a 10K.

Sundance

So this last weekend I had the opportunity to take advantage of an agent stay at Sundance.
Saturday I had decided to take the tram to the top of the mountain and take a hike. It's been a LONG time since I have been on a true hike.

Mom and Anthony took the tram.

While the three of us went in one tram. It was a bit scary at first until we got the safety bar down.
Jackson was excited to be on top of the mountain.
Let the hike begin.
After the first few falls by Jackson. Shane decided it would be best to hold hands with him and as Jackson would say "help save him".
Taking a small break.

Anthony was cute on this log. He told Jackson don't be scared, just hold my hand.
On our way.
We made it. Stewart Falls.
Jackson enjoyed playing in the water.

Enjoying the falls before heading back.

All in All it was a 3 mile hike. The kids first time hiking. They did AMAZING! Only a couple of meltdowns towards the end but they were troopers and completed the whole thing.

Fall is in the Air!

Ready.. Set.. Preschool is here!

My baby started preschool today.

Last week we went and met his teacher, Mrs. Sweet.
He was so excited he took his backpack for the 10 minute meeting.

He received his first assignment at this meeting. Tell his teacher about himself in pictures.
So we went through my scrapbook stickers, and ads. We ended up with the above. The blue paper is his favorite color. We added things like an airplane, baseball, football, monkey, and oreos.

Yesterday we had a back to school morning. So little and such a big school.

This morning ready to leave.
Showing off his backpack.
I can't believe how fast he is growing and already starting school. Can't wait to see what the next year will bring.
