Happy Valentine's Day

Shane does not buy flowers. He doesn't like to waste money on something that is just going to die. (His words not mine). I've given up on him every buying me flowers. So I told him for Valentine's all I wanted was a night out. Instead of getting something I really don't want. I just had to find something for him that wasn't too cheesy. I stole a great idea from a friend. I also learned very quickly I can't tell Anthony anything any longer. Saturday night at dinner I hear this conversation:
A: Daddy we got you a present.
S: Oh yea.. What did you get?
A: Candy!

Great the kid just blew my gift. Well I gave in and gave it to him on Saturday (he already knew what it was). Shane is a big candy fan.
Sunday we went to Avatar. It was alright, a little long for me. Something else came up and dinner was canceled. However I did get a nice card.

Randomness

I wanted to do a blog with some random pictures since the end of the year. Along with some updates. I started my new job on January 4th. I was a bit nervous even though I was for the most part doing the same job. However I have made it through 6 weeks for training and even 2 of those weeks on the phone and I think I will enjoy it. Call center and all!
Here is a great picture of one of the seldom times the boys will be dressed up.
So handsome!
This was trying to wake them up earlier then they wanted to wake up.
Spending some time sleding. They had a blast!
I never had to baby proof my kitchen from Anthony. Jackson is a whole another story. Here is what happens when he finds the pots and pans.
This is one of the seldom momments Jackson is actually sitting still and playing.
Jackson loves music and dancing. I will have to post a video of that soon.
He is also a big help with cleaning. Sort of.
Well Anthony managed to break his 2nd pair of glasses in just under a year. He had to go about 3 weeks without glasses until my insurance could kick in. Shane had him talked into a pair of glasses that were simalar to his last pair... That is until I pointed out the ones with red (his favorite color). That was it he had to have the red ones. Hopefully these will last a bit longer.

Birthday Parties x2

Since both the kids birthdays are so close together and so close together. It is easier to get the family together for one party. Here is the cake Anthony chose for both of them. Jackson go his own little smash cake that he was able to dig into.
Anthony blowing out the candles.
Jackson wasn't so sure about his cake at first..
However once he was handed a fork he had a great time.
Some how I didn't manage to take any pictures of them opening any gifts, that was all on the video camera.

Ever since Anthony's birthday party last year. It's time to start having parties with friends. I decided to wait till last weekend to have the party. Let everyone recover from Christmas. Anthony has been wanting to go to Chuckee Cheese ever time he see the comercial. What a better time than not. Let's have a birthday party there!
Here is Anthony with Chuckee.
After a few rides and games! Anthony got his own private show from Chuckee. Along with another cake(this time Spiderman).
Notice the birthday medal in the above picture. That has been a fight to get him to take if off for bed and school all week.

Anthony & Daddy Time

Anthony received a Lego spaceship for Christmas. Shane promised that he would help Anthony get it built. However Shane wanted to make sure that Anthony could not take it apart after spending the time putting it together. So once the model glue was purchased they spent the next 4 hours like this.
Then another 2 hours the next day. I was surprised how well Anthony did. He actually sat at the table the entire time while Shane put it together.
Tah-Dah! The final product! Anthony loves it!

Good Read

I have never been a big reader.. Till lately. After I finally gave in and read the Twilight series. I decided I wanted to find something else to read. I asked for the following books for Christmas. I started the first one at the 1st of the year. of the year and have read both already.
It was fun having one book pick up where the other left off, only from someone else's point of view.
I hear they will be making both books into a movie. Can't wait! I'm on the 3rd book by Emily Giffin. I can't help it. I've turned into a book worm and even joined a book club online. http://www.goodreads.com/
