Holy Snow!

Yep. This is what I woke up to this morning. It snowed ALL day yesterday and thru part of the night. We had to dig ourselves out of the drive way.
Too bad it wasn't enough to call for a snow day.

Thanksgiving Weekend

I hope you each had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday.
Here is a update on our eventful weekend.
That's right folks only 27 days 'til Christmas.
Here is the start of my very busy weekend. These two right here are for sure the first thing I have to be thankful for this year. Of course my husband, my job, and our health I am also thankful for. This year we had 3 dinners which made for a very long day.
Jackson loves olives.
Friday morning I did the "crazy" thing and went shopping by myself.
With the shopping done it was time to get to the important stuff.
DECORATIONS!
We spent Saturday afternoon putting up the tree and the rest of the decorations.
Of course while we did that we watched the Utes beat up on BYU.
Anthony started us off with the first ornament.
Buzz Lightyear.
Jackson even helped.
We had one little snag. As soon as I pulled out the round ornaments he kept pointing and saying "ball". I hope they all stay on the tree.
Anthony was excited to find the ones with his name.
All finished.
Christmas village is up.

Everything is in order around the house. Shopping is almost done. We will visit Santa on Friday. What a start to a busy 27 days!

Here he is advancing.

He is so proud.
Anthony is so excited to have a camo belt.
He starts to learn pressure points, sparring with other kids.

Many adventures of Jackson

Thought I would share what Jackson has been up to lately.
He thought he would grab a bowl of popcorn and watch
Anthony play outside with his friends.
He enjoys taking daddy's hat and wearing it himself.
Jackson loves watching the Raiders.
He takes time out to get some exercise.
He has multiple personalities when he eats.
First up a storm trooper.
Up next... A football player.
Most of all he loves to color. That includes himself.

Halloween has come and gone once again.

It's that time of year again. Halloween has come and gone just like that. I'm not even sure what happened to the month of October.
I had planned to take the kids to the corn maze again this year. However the day we decided to go it raid ALL day. Bummer!
However this a darn cute picture of Jackson.
So here is a rundown of the Halloween festivities.
Anthony had is first Halloween parade at school. Of course it was one of those days at work that could not be missed. I sent Shane with the camera and one simple request, get pictures.
This is what I got.
Shane ended up helping in the classroom and walking 50 kids around the school with 2 other parents and the teacher. What a good dad.
Buzz Lighter aka Anthony using his blaster.
The Friday before Halloween Anthony had a party at Karate. They played some games and did a trunk or treat. The start of the pile of candy they would get over the weekend.
He even had his face painted.
Afterwards we made a stop and got a pumpkin pizza before carving pumpkins.
Anthony trying his hardest cleaning out the pumpkin.
He was only getting one seed at a time.
I ended up helping clean it out so we weren't carving all night.
Anthony told us what shape to make the eyes and nose. As well if it was a happy or mean pumpkin on each one.
Jackson pretty excited about the pumpkins.
Here we are painting a pumpkin.
Anthony even got in on the painting while Shane carved his pumpkin.
All finished.
Time to do some trick or treating.
Look at that 2 Buzz Light years!
Trick or treating this year was wet and cold.
However both kids loved it!
Alien from Toy Story aka Jackson.
Jackson even got his groove thing on with Frankenstein.
I am pretty sure this should last awhile.
Shane is loving every bit of it.
