New York City Day 1

After a 4 hour flight, and a hour cab ride we arrived to this:
Look they even knew we were in New York to celebrate by birthday.
This was the view from our room. The green trees are central park.
That night we headed to times square. This was the first thing I saw.
We saw some amazing things. Like the GMA studio, eltrontic flag, the sprite billboard.
Everything was so cool to see.
Did you know they kept the ball up for the entire year?
We went into the GIANT ToysRus
We stoped and had dinner at this little Irish Pub off of Times Square.
The guys enjoyed an Irish Car Bomb before ending the night.
On our way back to the subway station the Chrysler Building
Here is the outside of Grand Central Station.
And the inside. Just like the movies. The funny thing is we never went in the same entrance that we went out. This place was huge.

I have to say I was not disappointed with my first day in NY. I have been wanting to go for so long and I can't believe I finally made it.

More to come.....

2nd Grade

Look who is another grade older.

I am sure I am more excited for school to be starting than he is.
However I was not home for his first day, but he seems excited to me. Amazing how fast he has grown in the last year. And I am excited to see how much he learns and grow this year.

It's like having a new kid...

Since the end of the school year Anthony has been begging us to let him grow his hair out like Uncle Trever. I have been against the idea, however Shane thinks we should let him do it.

Well, thankfully he has decided it is time for a haircut.

Such a nice change.

P.S. Both kids saw the dentist today, and NO cavities.

Lagoon

Me and Jen took Friday off from work and had a day of what fun is at Lagoon (with the kids).
Jackson was super excited for his first trip to Lagoon.

Anthony made sure Jackson wasn't afraid of the rides.

 Weeeeee!

Anthony was having a great time.
In a matter of time he was ready for a nap.
Jackson loved the tubes in Lagoon a Beach
Anthony was tall enough to go on most rides, and surprisingly Jackson was able to go on more than I thought he would.
Jackson was out before we left the park.

It was a great day to take the kids, and spend some fun times together. We even bounced back 10 days later and went twice this year.

It's Official....

We are no longer buying diapers/pull ups!

We have been working with Jackson since early April to get him potty trained. It has been a long 4 months. But we have finally completed the task. Last Saturday we started with underwear and I told him he went all week with no accidents he could pick out a new toy for all his hard work.

TA-DA we officially have a big boy.
