The joys of being a kid...
Iron man flip flops out. New light up Skechers in!
Anthony has been wanting a pair of Skechers for months now. He thinks due to Skechers advertising that he will become a super hero or even be able to fly once he puts them on. After explaining to him they won't make him fly we bought a pair for the up coming school year.
He has wanted to call everyone to let them know he has Skechers.. Here are a few of the more memorable conversations.
While running from the living room to the kitchen. Right after putting them on for the first time.
A: WOW! These shoes really do make me run faster.
D: You would run faster if you weren't looking at your feet.
While running from the living room to the bedroom.
A: Ya it does make me run faster.
-------
A: Look they glow in the dark.
M: Oh yea?
Turns off the bedroom light. Jumps up and down showing how they light up.
(He will also start kicking my chair in the car just to see them light up.)
-------
A: These shoes make me run faster. Even says so on the box.
D: Where does it say on the box?
A: Even has engines in them. But you can't see them.
I wish I could get that super excited about shoes. The joys of being a kid.

You scream, I scream,
We all scream for ICE CREAM!
We decided to get ice cream the other night. Anthony isn't a fan, so I thought it would be good just to share with Jackson.
Ready to share.

What happens in Vegas. Stays in Vegas.
Except when you have kids.
On our way to California we stayed 2 nights and than 1 night on the way home. Are first 2 nights I made it about family. We mostly just hung out and relaxed. However we checked out the outlet mall and Fremont street.

The kids thought Fremont was pretty cool.
This was Jackson telling us he was ready to go out on the town.
(He was leaning forward in the stroller and sit back to get the stroller moving)
We took the kids to Hard Rock for dinner. The day prior Shane had bribed Anthony not to get his face painted that we would take him to play video games in Vegas.
We headed over to gameworks. Bought $20 in credit (which was entirely too much)

and let the kids have a hay day.
Anthony beat Shane at air hockey.

Jackson loved holding the gun and shooting things.
Anthony absoultly loved this game. The whole thing moved and really made him feel like he was flying.
I tell you things must have gotten pretty desperate in Vegas. The strip was lined up with characters. Some of the costumes were pretty sad looking. Talk about ruining a character for a child.

This stormtrooper was pretty cool. Anthony thought it was pretty cool to hold his blaster.
So my plan was to take Anthony down to the Mirage to see the Volcano.
So my plan was to take Anthony down to the Mirage to see the Volcano.
Which Anthony liked.
However by the time we made it down to the Mirage it was 10 after 11. Anthony was tired, and didn't want to keep walking (still needed to get back to our hotel). We learned that the volcanos only go off every hour til mindnight. There was no way we were going to sit and wait by this time. Needless to say I was pretty bummed that we didn't see the volcano.
But there is always next year.

Legoland
I have so many pictures from 2 days at Legoland. I didn't even know where to start. I know I am missing some but this is the majority of our 2 days.
Anthony super excited that this finally arrived.
We of course had to ride the rides.
I was pretty bummed that Jackson missed riding most rides by a half an inch.
