Our Weekend

This weekend we spent it in Flaming Gorge. Shane's dad has a house with a boat up there. So it was a great chance to get away.

The boys spent most of their weekend like this. I was able to read an entire book.

We did mange to get to take the kids out on the boat.

 The kids loved the boat.

Jackson was able to help grandpa drive. And it was a bit windy on the water.

 Jackson found a great hiding spot from the wind.

 We found this rock with a rope, that people were swinging off. Crazy people!

 It had some great sights for the little bit I saw.

 It was truly a great time.

 After the boat ride we let the kids get their feet wet in the water.

 Jackson loved the water, and Anthony only lasted a minute before getting out.

 This morning Shane, his dad, and Trever went fishing.

Shane caught the only two fish of the day. Not to shabby.

4th of July

This year for the 4th we did not have our big family BBQ. So instead we put together a small BBQ with a few friends.

 Thankfully Jontue was kind of enough to host at her house.

 The kids were excited to play with everyone and enjoy the night.

 I love the way Xavier crawls, cutest thing ever!

 Instead of dealing with the crowds at parks we did some small fireworks for the kids.

 Mostly everyone was more intrigued by the big fireworks around us.

 Of course what is the 4th without some sparklers.

We are lucky to have some amazing friends!
