Monte Carlo, Monaco & my final thoughts

Our last stop was Monte Carlo. We had planned a walking tour of the city, and luckily I hobbled my way through the tour. Very happy that I did. Such a beautiful city. Monaco is the 2nd smallest country in the world.

Our first stop was the Grace Kelly gardens. Such amazing views.
Overlooking Monte Carlo.

Monaco City Hall
St. Nicholas Cathedral, Monaco
Inside is where many of the Grimaldis were buried, including Grace Kelly and more recently, Rainier III.

The city was so clean, with beautiful gardens everywhere.

We were in Monte Carlo about 5 days after the Prince was married. The city was still decorated which was fun to see.

The Palace were the wedding took place.

And this is the town hall, where the civil ceremony took place.

The famous Grand Casino. We only saw it outside. It was not worth paying 10 euros to see the inside.

Monte Carlo has to be one of my favorite stops on this cruise, and I am really happy I did the tour. Really learned a lot.

The cruise was amazing. Had amazing food (see above). Met amazing people. Enjoyed sitting by the pool each day after seeing the cities. What a tough job I have.

This is my leg a week after the accident. Once I was home I was saw a doctor who provided me with a tetanus shot, and week worth of antibiotics. It seemed to get worse before it got better.
